In these hectic days, we are developing a habit of buying and storing vegetables at a time. But have you ever think if these vegetables are nutritious enough to be eaten?
If we are looking for maximum nutrition benefits from vegetables, it does not make sense to buy vegetables in bulk to last us for a week or so. Vegetable deteriorate even if they are stored in the refrigerator. But in these busy and hectic lifestyles, we are forced to buy a little more than what we need immediately.
We should store vegetables in the refrigerator for no longer than a day or two and that too in ziplock bags because these bags will help in retaining their nutrition slightly better.
Try to buy fresh vegetables for our family. After all, what we want; a healthy and happy family and if we have to put an extra effort for them, it’s worthy!
