Apricot Whole Wheat Bread
Whole wheat flour - 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Baking powder - 3 Teaspoon
Cinnamon - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Nutmeg - 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Milk - 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
Honey - 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Slightly beaten egg - 1
Salad oil - 2 Tablespoon
Chopped dried california apricots - 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chopped walnuts - 1 Cup (16 tbs)
In med.bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
Combine milk, honey,egg and oil; pour over, dry ingredients.
Stir just enough, to dampen flour.
Gently fold in apricots and walnuts.
Pour into greased 9x3 inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350 degreess F oven 60 - 70 minutes or until done.
Remove from oven; let stand on rack about 10 minutes Remove from pan.
Store overnight for easiest slicing.
