5-6 carrots, sliced (3 cups)
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon minced mint leaves
Sprig of mint
Place carrots and 1 cup water in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan; cover and cook over medium heat.
When water begins to boil, reduce heat to low; continue cooking 20-30 minutes or until carrots are tender; drain.
Combine butter, sugar, salt and minced mint leaves in a bowl.
Pour over drained carrots.
Garnish with sprig of mint.
