3. Then, put the tightly sealed container with feta cheese inside the refrigerator. 

4. Although, it is always suggested that feta cheese should be consumed within two to three days, you can keep it fresh for a little longer by following these instructions. So, it is advisable that you store feta cheese properly in the refrigerator. 

5. You can also coat the feta cheese with olive oil, so that it can be stored for a longer period of time.

While putting the cheese into a container, always make sure that you are using a glass container instead of plastic. Plastic containers can transfer odors to the cheese.
