I have been running www.onlinecooking.net for the last 3 years. I do have a culinary background but ended up doing web development. Food has always been an important part of my life.I was born and raised in Washington, DC, I'm 8th generation or so Washingtonian. We are a dying breed. I find it hard to move away from a city I've called home for so many years. I moved just over the DC/MD border and bought a house with my wife. We live here with our two large dogs, Bernie and Marmalade. Bernie get's what we call liver brownies every week, I've actually used the same recipe for pate before :) Marmalade has a sensitive stomach, but she loves fresh baked bread. We have to put bread up on top of the fridge to keep it away from her. She has been know to devour an entire loaf in a matter of seconds.
