Deep fried cornmeal disks are known as tortillas in Panama. Maize or cornflour tortillas are widely eaten by the Mexicans and North Americans. Flavory tortillas topped with a variety of seasonings, eaten by dipping in sauces, are a rage in many parts of the world.
