Sole

Sole is used to refer to a number of flatfish that are used as food. Amongst these the flounder and the Dover sole are the most commonly cooked food fish. Sole are marine fish and are popularly cooked as fancy and exotic dishes but they are healthy and also make simple and delicious meals when cooked with herbs such as dill and other spices. Turbot, halibut and cod are some other fish that are also cooked as sole.
