Snowball cookie looks a lot like a pfeffernuesse cookie but are not quite so. Snowball cookies are a great Christmas favorite and are made with flour, butter, pecan nuts, vanilla, powdered sugar and some salt. They do not contain any spices and are rolled in powdered sugar to look like little balls of snow. Snowball cookies are light baked and are always baked to a light color.
