Samosa pastry is unleavened dough made of refined wheat flour, oil and salt. The pastry is used for making samosas, which are deep fried Indian snack. Samosas have a spicy potato or lentil filling which is wrapped in the pastry and deep fried. The pastry is rolled into a thin wide circular strip and then folded to make a triangle shape, the filling is stuffed in and the pastry edges are finally sealed with a flour paste. Samosa pastry is also known as samosa patti or samosa wrappers and is easily available frozen in supermarkets.
