Vitamin A, vitamin C and E along with iron, copper and zinc are the common minerals and vitamins that help in fighting free radicals damaging the tissues. Fat releases a chemical called prostaglandins that either harms the patient or may even provide benefit. Allegric foods are generally excluded from the diet for at least 2-3 weeks to check the results. This diet has proved tremendously beneficial for RA patients and even cured the disease for some people.
