Raisin Bread

Raisin bread, as the name suggests is bread that contains raisins. It is sweet bread that is quite a popular delicacy in the United States and Northern Europe. Sometimes raisin bread is even combined with cinnamon sugar. Raisin bread recipes are quite common and they can even be made at home. Raisin bread recipes require ingredients such as dry yeast, warm water, raisins, butter, salt, milk, flour and eggs. Yeast needs to be added to warm water. Raisins, sugar, butter, salt and hot milk needs to be mixed together in a bowl. Then the sugar should be stirred and allowed to cool down. Then flour needs to be mixed and the whisked eggs and yeast mixture should be added to it. Once the dough is ready, it can be placed in a bowl. Now the dough can be divided and shaped into two loaves and placed in a loaf pan. Finally the raisin bread can be baked for a couple of minutes without letting them get too brown. Once it’s cooled raisin bread can be enjoyed as a dessert or even as a quick snack.
