Professional life of Chef Prahlad Hedge
Mumbai, India is the place of education for Prahlad Hedge. He completed his graduation form Wilson college, Mumbai in the year 1983 and moved to Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai.
Prahlad was among the top rankers of Food Service Management in the hotel management institute and his talents led Maharashtra State Technical Board to offer him the seat to the second year in diploma of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. His gourmand journey began in the year 1986 when he joined Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Mumbai as ‘Chef de Partie’. Since then, this chef has not looked back and pioneered the culinary world by offering some of the best Indian recipes.
After serving the Taj hotels, Mumbai for 5 years he joined Taj International Hotels, The Bombay Brasserie London in the year 1991 as Executive Chef. It’s been 20 years that he is playing an integral role in making the restaurant an iconic dining place.
