Palak

Palak is the Indian term for the spinach, a green leafy vegetable. Palak is known to have a lot of medicinal values and hence is an important vegetable in many of the households. Boiled, fried or minced raw palak is used independently or in combination with vegetables or meat to make delectable side courses which may be curries. Palak paneer an irresistible curry from the Indian cuisine, made from palak and cottage cheese has gained a lot of popularity in many Indian cultures.
