Orzo Shrimp

Orzo Shrimp refers to a food preparation belonging to the Italian cuisine, which is prepared using a combination of orzo pasta and shrimps as ingredients in the recipe. A typical orzo shrimp dish is made by first cooking the orzo pasta and coating it with olive oil, salt and pepper. The Shrimps are sautéed along with garlic, parsley and salt for about 5 minutes which are then removed from heat and topped up with a thick reduced mixture of lemon juice and white wine. The shrimps are finally placed on a dish spread with cooked orzo. Variations in the original recipes include dishes like Pesto Shrimp Orzo and Baked Orzo Shrimp.
