Mustard vinaigrette may be made in the ratio 3:1 i.e, mustard is to vinegar. Olive oil or other cooking oil is also an essential ingredient. The typical vinaigrette dressing would comprise of oil, vinegar, a little salt and pepper mixed in a bowl of green leaves such as parsley, thyme and lettuce.
