Green Curry

Green curry hails from the Thai cuisine and can be made with both vegetables and meat. The green curry is most often served with rice as an accompaniment. The key ingredient to the green curry is the green curry paste that is combined with fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves and Thai basil leaves along with coconut milk. The green curry paste is made with shrimp paste, shallots, red chilies, garlic etcetera. Green curry is best served with rice or rice noodles and can use duck meat, chicken, fish, meat and vegetables. Seafood green curry adds a little wild ginger to the preparation to give a special fragrance to the dish.
