Popular Method of Preparation of Flavored Vodkas

The extra ingredients are added to the vodka and it is left in a sealed container for a period of time to steep. This period can range from hours to months depending on the ingredients. After this period, any solid additives are removed from the vodka and the infusion is then filtered to remove smaller particles. After this, the vodka infusion can be left to age for a period of time to allow flavors to mature.

The best way to serve flavored vodka is to take it as a long drink, that is, with a soft drink like coke   and try it over crushed ice.  The flavored Vodka is partnered with foods like salt fish, pickles, and salads under the mayo salami.

Flavored Vodka contains no carbs, fats, Protein, Sodium, Fiber and   no cholesterol. Vodka's alcoholic content usually ranges between 35–70% by volume.  The standard Polish, Russian and Lithuanian vodkas are 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof). The European Union has established a minimum of 37.5% alcohol by volume content for any European vodka to be named as such. One shot of 90 ml. vodka contains 70-90 Kilo calories.  Mixing with coke or other carbonated drink causes the amount of calories to shoot up.
