Embutido is a pork sausage found in countries like Philipines, Spain, Portugal, and Central and South America. Embutido is also known as Enchido. The pork meat is seasoned with spices like pepper, garlic, herbs, etc. and then filled in pork intestine like most sausages. Embutido is also name of a Pilipino dish which is basically a meatloaf which is steamed.

Cured Spanish Chorizo – This variety of Embutido has cured or smoked meat and requires no cooking prior to eating.

Salami – This is a variety popular in Italy. The sausage is cured, fermented and air dried making it possible to store it for nearly 10 years.
