Egg flower soup or the egg drop soup is a delicious Chinese appetizer. Egg flower soup is widely consumed in most Easter and Asian countries. Unlike what the name suggests, the ingredients of this soup do not comprise of flowers. The froth that egg whites generate was earlier denoted as the “blossoming” of the ingredient which gave the dish its uncanny name.
