Easy cheesecake is a dessert which consists of a topping made up of fresh cheese over a base of pastry, sponge or biscuit. The topping is either sweetened with sugar or it is topped with nuts, chocolate or fruit. Cheesecakes may be savory too which are either served with accompanying salads or served as hors d’oeuvre. Cheesecakes are rich, smooth and creamy in texture. They are either baked or unbaked.
