Dal Curry

Daal curry is a popular Indian dish which is mostly consumed as a side dish. Daal curry is mostly consumed in northern India, but it is also consumed in other parts of the country. This dish is mostly served along with rice, naan or chapatis. A spicy dish, Daal curry is prepared using ingredients like yellow or black lentils, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, cumin seeds, turmeric, chili powder, garlic, onions, butter or vegetable oil and ginger. Daal curry is an ideal dish for serving during special occasions.
