Cream biscuits, a truly tempting treat for children, are essentially crispy baked products consisting of a layer of cream in between a couple of biscuits. Easy to prepare, cream biscuits, are made by first baking plain biscuits and then sandwiching a layer of cream in between. The cream is a uniform blend of butter, white sugar and a flavoring element which may be cocoa powder, vanilla essence, strawberry essence, orange essence or finely chopped fruit or nut. Generally, not made at home, factory made cream biscuits are a rage with people of all ages, especially children.
