Corn relish is a traditional American condiment. It is prepared mainly with whole corn kernels, red and green bell peppers, peppercorns, sugar and cider vinegar. Sometimes, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, dill seed, or mustard seed are also added to the corn relish recipe. Steaming is the preferred method of cooking corn relish. Corn relish goes perfectly with meat-and-potatoes dinners.
