Coffee Pie is a variety of coffee flavored pie made deliciously sweet using different coffee mixes, along with such other ingredients line beaten eggs, milk, castor sugar and seasonings. Coffee pies are often made spongy and fluffy and sometimes are open to slightly alcohol flavor, as coffee seems to partner well with it. Rum is one such alcoholic flavor often added to coffee pie. Different variations of coffee pie is tried using different coffee essence, like Irish coffee, coffee liqueur, mocha, cappuccino, coffee-toffee and more. Great to be teamed with hot sips, coffee pie is otherwise served as a sweet dessert to liven up any occasion.
