Christmas punch is a generic term used for a number of alcoholic or alcohol free drinks consisting of cranberries or cranberry juice as one of the essential ingredients. Mixed with vodka, rum or champagne, the alcoholic versions of the Christmas punch are a deliciously intoxicating fare. The non alcoholic versions usually consisting of a number of fruit cocktails in combination with a cranberry element are Christmastime favorites for kids. Holiday splashes, Christmas coolers, Christmas cheer punches and Christmas Cranberry punches are some of seducing variations of the basic Christmas punch.
