Christmas Martini is a great Christmas drink. It is a specialty drink. Although the story of its origin is not very clear, it is believed to have been created by Jerry Thomas, a bartender somewhere in the 1860’s. When first martini recipes were created in San Francisco, they were named after a town nearby called Martinez. The ingredients used for making Christmas Martini include Gin, peppermint schnapps and dry vermouth.
