Chow mein casserole is a casserole dish made of chow mein noodles along with ground beef, rice, celery, soy sauce, onions and a soup. The casserole incorporates Asian flavors of chow mein and soy sauce, and forms a delicious part of any meal.
 

Chow Mein Casserole Preparation Overview

Ingredients: The ingredients suggested by the Chow mein casserole recipe are chow mein noodles, ground beef, chopped onions, chopped celery stalks, cooked rice, condensed cream of chicken soup, water and soy sauce.

Chow Mein Hamburger Casserole: This version is made by browning the hamburger and onion, and mixing these with soup, bean sprouts, celery cooked in bean sprout juice and the sprout juice. The mixture is topped with chow mein noodles and baked.

Chow Mein and Tuna Casserole: The casserole includes tuna along with other regular ingredients. Cashew nuts may be used as an additional ingredient.
