Chocolate Scone is a decadently delicious scone recipe,
prepared mainly by cocoa powder, semisweet and white chocolate chips, buttermilk, ground cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, eggs, and granulated sugar. Chocolate color and flavor of the Chocolate Scone comes from the cocoa powder and chocolate chips. The Scone is also used as a base for making chocolate shortcakes by splitting the scones in half and filling them with sliced strawberries or raspberries topped with softly whipped cream.
