Chocolate Fudge Pie, which has always been a family favorite, is a wonderful sweet pie variety, which is often made incredibly rich yet surprisingly light and fluffy. The chocolate fudge pie dough can be homemade using the ingredients like brown sugar, unsweetened cocoa, flour, milk, corn syrup, melted butter, beaten eggs and some flavorings. The pie dough may also be bought ready made from any of the commercial outlets. The chocolate fudge pie often uses refrigerated pie dough and is a make-ahead dessert variety that needs to be chilled at least 4 hours before serving. Spread evenly with whipped cream topping, chocolate fudge pie may also be sprinkled with a teaspoon of cocoa powder atop the cream topping for an extra flavor.
