Icing sugar, butter, cocoa powder and milk are cooked together till a fudge like consistency is achieved and the mixture gets a glossy finish. Chocolate fudge frosting is used to decorate cup cakes, layer sponge cakes and garnish cookies; it has popular variations like triple chocolate fudge icing, chocolate chip fudge icing, etc.
