Chocolate cookie is made from semi sweet chocolate. Chocolate chips are also added to the recipe in some variations but the plain chocolate cookie only uses chocolate (rushed or powder), flour, butter, eggs, brown and white sugar and salt along with baking soda. Vanilla is also added at times to give the cookie a light flavor. Nuts like walnuts are used too to add extra body to the cookie. Chocolate cookie goes best with a glass of warm milk.
