Chocolate almond fudge, also called as chocolate almond fudge square, is a type of confectionary native to the Western region. It is a sweet and rich dessert made by cooking chocolate, milk, butter and sugar along with almonds. It has a creamy, smooth texture.
Ingredients and Preparation
Butter, milk, dark or milk chocolate and cream are the main ingredients for making chocolate almond fudge. Blanched and sliced or roasted and sliced almonds are also used.
Butter, sugar, milk and chocolate are heated together in a saucepan till it forms a uniformly melted mixture. It is heated till 116 degrees C. Sliced almonds are added to the mixture and the mixture is poured in a greased shallow pan. It is left to cool and set for about 2 hours. Fudge squares are cut and stored in an airtight container.

- Chocolate almond fudge is served as a dessert. It can also be served with ice cream.
- It makes a good tiffin snack.
