Chilli Paratha

Chilli Paratha is a very popular variation of the plain paratha, which is often served as a breakfast or dinner meal. Usually made spicy, chilli paratha is the specialty of the southern states of India and the preparation uses chick peas, capsicum, along with frozen parathas, tomatoes, onions, spices, condiments etc. Unlike the standard parathas, chilli parathas are not usually rolled out, instead the rest of the ingredients are mixed with sliced frozen parathas, which is then stir-fried and served. Often these scrumptious chilli parathas are served with a platter of raita and fries.
