Chicken leg quarter is a particular cut of chicken used in cooking various chicken dishes, ranging from grilling, roasting, baking, curried and so forth. Few related chicken leg quarter recipes are garlic chicken leg quarter, herbed chicken leg quarter among the noted ones. Thin slits are made over the meat pieces while marinating. A smooth paste is prepared from cumin, chili powder, coriander and lemon juice and is basted over the raw meat. The lighter skin is peeled off the chicken before marinating with spices. Chicken leg quarters are coated with soy sauce or some other homemade sauce and baked in the oven. This meat dish can be served with mashed, baked or stuffed potatoes over lunch or dinner.
