Chai Tea (also called as Masala Chai) is a very popular hot beverage native to the Indian subcontinent. This preparation of chai tea is an interesting variation to the plain tea, wherein tea dust along with milk, water and sweetener is brewed with an aromatic and flavorful blend of ingenious Indian spices and herbs. The range of spices used in making chai tea or masala chai include cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorn, cloves, ginger, star anise etc. Although there are tea variations prepared using these individual spices and herbs, it is the perfect blend of all that renders the chai tea extremely flavorful.
