Caramel Tart

A caramel tart is a caramel dessert where a tart has filling of soft piped caramel. The dessert is very common in areas like Queensland and New South Wales in Australia. Caramel tarts can even be topped with melted chocolate or whipped cream. The basic ingredients for making Caramel tarts include whole milk, golden syrup, fresh butter, pastry shell, brown sugar, white sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs and vanilla extract. They are popularly served at birthday parties and tea parties in Europe.
