Cajun Jambalaya

Cajun jambalaya is a popular main course dish that contains numerous different ingredients depending on availability. Like most dishes from this cuisine the final ingredients used are those that are easily available. The main ingredient used in making Cajun jambalaya is rice. Usually onions, celery, pepper and bell peppers are also used while other ingredients are optional. Cajun jambalaya is primarily served as a main course and replaces the steamed rice pot that is an integral part of this cuisine. The dish can be made in such a way so as to contain only vegetarian products and also in a way so as to contain meat products.
