Butterscotch Fudge is a very sweet and excitingly flavorful variation of the normal fudge recipe. The very basic butterscotch fudge uses butterscotch chips and other butterscotch flavored ingredients that are combined with condensed milk, cream and flavoring agents like vanilla, rum etc. Sour cream can be used to make the butterscotch fudge rich and creamy, but whipped cream as well as fruit flavored cream is also used. This variety of fudge has a tendency to become a little too sweet, so one can choose to skip off extra sugar, if required. Butterscotch fudge is well liked as a perfect dessert to wrap up any meal!
