Butterfly refers to a method of cooking which can be used for any meat dish and fishes. Butterfly essentially means to split any form of meat so as to disengage it from any bone of the animal’s body. This method is often used on meat products like chicken, pork, shrimp, lamb and also on fishes. This method ensures only the fleshy part of the animal product is used in the dish.
