Black Bean Hummus

Black Bean Hummus is a variation to the traditional hummus made with chick peas. When chickpeas are not easily found this recipe comes handy. Boiled Black beans are literally substituted for chickpeas and made into a paste along with tahini, garlic, lime juice and olive oil. This hummus tastes as good as the traditional one and can be eaten with snacks as a dip or smeared onto breads and used as a sandwich spread.
