Beef Sirloin, also known as primal section of the beef, is a cut from the hip region, includes different muscles from the pelvic area that are differently flavored and of variable tenderness. The beef sirloin is used for making a wide variety of recipes. The tender and flavored portions are used for making steaks and roasts whereas the tough ones are used for making stews for hamburger etc. Roasted or grilled steaks make good lunch or dinner courses.
