Bean stew is a wet accompaniment dish made with beans and vegetables or meat.
Preparation of Bean Stew
Bean stew is prepared by first soaking and boiling beans partially. Vegetables are sautéed along with seasonings and beans are added with some stock. Seasonings comprising of spices and herbs are added. The mixture is stewed till it attains a thick consistency.
Serving Bean Stew
Bean stew is usually served as an accompaniment with rice, pasta or breads. It may also be served with some main dish meat courses.
