Barbecue sauce or BBQ sauce is served as a sauce to go with all kinds of barbecued items from meat to fish and vegetables. The recipe of barbecue sauces vary from region to region but it mainly contains tomato paste, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, hot sauce. Chopped sweet peppers may be added along with parsley and onions in the sauce. The barbecue sauce goes well with grilled and baked meats too. Different variations of the BBQ sauce has different flavors that may range from tangy, sweet, spicy, hot or smoky or even combine all of these to give a diffused taste.
