Bar cheesecake is a dessert or snack made using cream cheese. A mixture of cream cheese, sugar milk and egg flavored with lemon juice and vanilla is put in a sweet crust made of flour, sugar and butter. The cheese filled crust is baked. Different types of fruit or confections may be included in the basic recipe for making different types of bar cheesecakes. The baked cake is cut into square bars on cooling.
