Baked Pasta

Baked Pasta is a slightly heavy and dense pasta dish, more often wherein the ingredients are blended well with the gluey mozzarella and often topped with a tomato paste. Traditionally prepared baked pasta is a little mushy when made, mainly due to it soaking up the moisture from the sauce. Also there are much lighter and much boldly flavored pasta dishes prepared and served, like lasagna, pasta casseroles etc. Most of the baked pasta dishes take in ingredients of your choice like meat, sausages, greens, tomato paste etc. Baked pasta is best served hot as a main course with your favorite vegetable or meat soup.
