Apple cookies are made from finely chopped and usually unpaired apples so that the skin of the apple adds a little texture to the cookie. Made with flour, butter, milk, eggs, sugar and salt to taste, apple cookies are delightful as a seasonal snack when fresh apples flood the market. Apple cookies can also have a variety of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove along with nuts and raisins. They can be served fresh from the oven as such or with a glass of milk.
