Almond bread, highly delectable cookies, is baked and oven dried whole almond dessert item. Egg white beaten to meringue consistency, flour, sugar and whole almonds are folded sequentially into dough, poured into a bread loaf tin and baked at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. The baked Almond bread loaf is folded in an aluminum foil and refrigerated for a couple of days after which it is cut into thin slices, dried in the oven at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. Almond bread wafers can be preserved for four to five months in air tight containers and served as evening snack or after dinner dessert items.
