Hi! My name is Lauren Groveman and I’m here, on ifood.tv, to share with you my expertise and passion for real, honest-to-goodness cooking and baking. I’m also here to impart my insights as a devoted wife and mother, on the many benefits that shared thoughtfully prepared home-cooked meals can, when provided in the right spirit, provide for a family. Ultimately, I’m here to give you the organizational skills, the technical know-how and the emotional support, to help you to have the loving, sensory-rich, happy home life you’ve always wanted. So, in addition to giving you recipes, I also want your questions!  I want ALL your questions, from those about shopping, to organizing your preparation schedules, to understanding about seasonal ingredients, to feeding finicky (and seemingly unappreciative) eaters, to how to find the physical and emotional motivation to make your home life as nurturing and fortifying as possible (especially when you’re exhausted and wish someone was around to take care of you, instead!)Ok, about my credentials: I’m a Certified Culinary Professional, a cooking teacher, the author of two cookbooks (which contain the recipes for all the favorite foods of all three of my children since they were little). I’m also an award-winning media host and a food-writer that’s been featured in many of the most renown national food publications, including Julia Child’s only baking book, in which I was a major contributor to both, the book and to the accompanying PBS television series.
