I'm a Registered Dietitian, Certified Holistic Chef, Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Specialist. I've worked in health & fitness for 21 years. Since the day I began my education I knew I wanted to develop & host a cooking show. For the past 10 years I've been conducting national interviews & cooking demos. I've appeared as a guest chef on Dinner & a Movie on TBS. I wrote & reviewed cookbooks & exercise books for Prevention Magazine & Men's Health. With the Olympic Weight Lifting Coach I helped to write the book Banish Your Belly. I was the "Grocery Shopping Expert" for Men's Health Magazine. My recipes & advice have appeared in magazines such as Fitness, Shape, & Self. I exercise daily; weight lifting, running, & cycling. I've worked as a personal trainer & competed in body building, powerlifting, & marathons. I have been a fitness model including work with famous fantasy artists Boris Vallejo & Julie Belle. I received my BS in Nutrition from Penn State University & my MS from Marywood University. My culinary degree is from The Bauman School for Holistic Nutrition in Santa Cruz, California. My culinary emphasis is maximizing whole foods & their disease fighting properties. I can offer personal nutrition services including nutrition counseling for prevention & treatment of all types of diseases & food allergies. I can help you plan and prepare well balanced whole food meals including macrobiotics, raw foods, juicing, vegan & vegetarian meals. I can teach you how to do it yourself or I can do it for you. I can also help get you into shape with a personalized fitness program. We can do one-on-one personal training or I can design a program for you to do on your own. With my 21 years of professional experience and expertise I can be an invaluable resource for you to help you achieve the body of your dreams.
