Founded in 2004 by Leeanne Goetz, Honey Ridge Farms—located in Brush Prairie, WA—is part of an extended beekeeping legacy; in fact, Ryan, Leanne’s oldest son, is fifth-generation, working alongside his grandfather Edmund Varney to learn the vocation as a teenager and during college.

Keeping true to traditional practices and offering exceptional local based honey products, Ryan is caretaker to 1700 colonies that pollinate a variety of crops throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. Honey Ridge Farms’ family has a unique appreciation and unprecedented consideration for hive health, offering the highest quality pollination services to local farmers.

Leeanne develops and supervises the production of over 20 gourmet honey products that are now sold worldwide. The majority of honey comes from Ryan plus a select group of USA artisan beekeepers. As a boutique honey-focused business, Leeanne has turned honey into an array of delicious gourmet products – from balsamic-style and spice/herb-infused honey vinegars and whipped honey crèmes, to honey glazes and grill sauces. Due to a severe bee-sting allergy, Leeanne joined the family tradition at the urging of her father, as an “end-producer,” selling her products at local farmers markets. Gourmet stores soon signed up, and carry Honey Ridge Farms products throughout the US and abroad.

Produced entirely from honey mead, this vinegar’s versatile applications mirror those of balsamic.
